Candied Ginger-Turmeric
- Ginger and turmeric as prepared in Ginger-Turmeric Syrup
- 1/3 cup sugar

Heat oven to 225°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread ginger and turmeric evenly on baking sheet. Sprinkle sugar on top of the ginger and turmeric. Place in oven and bake for 3 hours for chewy ginger-turmeric slices or at 300°F for 2 hours for crispier slices. Check on ginger-turmeric every 10-15 minutes to prevent burning. Cool and store pieces in an airtight container.
Makes approximately 8 1/4-cup servings.
