Candied Ginger-Turmeric

Ingredients:

Candied Ginger-Turmeric

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 225°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Spread ginger and turmeric evenly on baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle sugar on top of the ginger and turmeric.
  5. Place in oven and bake for 3 hours for chewy ginger-turmeric slices or at 300°F for 2 hours for crispier slices.
  6. Check on ginger-turmeric every 10-15 minutes to prevent burning.
  7. Cool and store pieces in an airtight container.

Makes approximately 8 1/4-cup servings.
