Customers charging EVs at home have several electricity rate options. Customers may stay on their current residential rate or may qualify for a time-of-use rate which provides an opportunity to save by using energy during certain times of day when solar power is most abundant.
Commercial customers may qualify for a time-of-use rate for including one or more charging stations on their own electric service.
