Get Started - Rates and Enrollment

Customers charging EVs at home have several electricity rate options. Customers may stay on their current residential rate or may qualify for a time-of-use rate which provides an opportunity to save by using energy during certain times of day when solar power is most abundant.

Commercial customers may qualify for a time-of-use rate for including one or more charging stations on their own electric service.

Hawaiian Electric Company Fast Charger Rates

For customers that are unable to charge EVs at home, they can charge their EVs at Hawaiian Electric Companies' DC Fast Chargers or other charging stations. Below are the time-of-use rates for Hawaiian Electric Company's DC Fast Chargers on Oahu:

Price per kilowatt-hour (kWh) based upon time-of-use period:
Mid Day (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) $0.49/kWh
On-Peak (5 p.m. - 10 p.m.) $0.57/kWh
Off-Peak (10 p.m. - 9 a.m.) $0.54/kWh
