Water Chestnut Stuffing

Ingredients:

Water Chestnut Stuffing

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 3/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 can (12 oz) water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon minced Chinese parsley
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger root
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 pkg (7 1/2 oz size) seasoned stuffing mix

Directions:

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter.
  2. Lightly saute onion and celery.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Makes enough stuffing for a 12 to 14 lb turkey (about 12 servings).
