Tempura Batter

Ingredients:

Tempura Batter

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup very cold water

Directions:

  1. Sift together flour and cornstarch; mix in egg.
  2. Add water and mix lightly.
  3. Batter will be slightly lumpy.

Makes 2 cups.
