Sriracha Candied Nuts

Ingredients:

Sriracha Candied Nuts

  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha, or more, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup raw macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1 cup raw walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together egg white, Sriracha and water until frothy, about 2 minutes; set aside.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine sugars and cinnamon; set aside.
  5. In a large bowl, combine almonds, pecans, walnuts and Sriracha mixture until well combined.
  6. Stir in brown sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  7. Spread nut mixture onto prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  8. Place into oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring at halftime.
  9. Let cool completely before serving.

Makes 3 cups.

  1. Package nuts in kraft bag in food safe tin tie bag with grease liner.
  2. Attached a festive bow and handmade kraft tag.
