Pickled Mango

Ingredients:

Pickled Mango

  • 8 cups green mango slices
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Hawaiian salt
  • 10 li hing mui

Directions:

Put mango slices into a jar. Combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cool to lukewarm. Pour over mangoes. Let stand for 24 hours, then store in refrigerator. Makes 4 quarts.

Excellent recipe for Pickles mango. When I grew up my mom made pickle mango every mango season. Returning back from the mainland I kinda forgot the recipe...But this to Helco and the recipe on website I made mango pickle. Thank you great recipe..??????
