Kim Chee Chicken

Ingredients:

Kim Chee Chicken

  • 5 pounds chicken wing drummettes
  • 1 package (1 1/8 ounces) NOH brand Korean kim chee mix
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions:

  1. Combine the kim chee mix, egg, flour, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken, mix well; marinate overnight.
  3. Deep fry chicken in hot oil until golden brown; drain.

Makes 20 appetizer servings.
