Fresh Mint Sauce

Fresh Mint Sauce

  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint leaves


In a small saucepan, bring the vinegar and sugar to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened; stir in the baking soda and mint. Makes about 1/2 cup.
