Ingredients:
Chocolate Chili
Try this delicious recipe from the Electric Kitchen!
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 cup diced onions
1 clove garlic, minced
3 sweet peppers, chopped
3/4 pound lean ground beef
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1 1/2 tablespoons crushed red pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
Add in peppers and ground beef.
Break the mixture up with a spatula and cook on medium until meat is browned.
Stir in the honey, cocoa powder, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, chocolate chips and crushed red pepper.
Mix in salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, or until thick.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serves 4.

made it.... liked it a lot, only a little to spicy, next time I will use less crushed red pepper
