- 1 lb day-old bread
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 cans (12 oz size) evaporated milk
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
- Ground cinnamon

I think this is the closest recipe for the Bread Pudding I bought from a soda fountain on Puuhale Road near St Anthony’s School. I’m reliving my school days and finding all my foodies that I loved and forgot about. I attended SAS from Kindergarten to 8th grade 1958. The bread pudding squares was the treat of the SAS students.
