Broiled Steak Siciliano

Ingredients:

Broiled Steak Siciliano

  • 1 cup burgundy wine
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 1/2 pounds top sirloin steak, 1 1/2 inches thick

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except steak; heat until butter melts; cool slightly.
  2. Pour over steak and marinate about 3 hours, turning occasionally.
  3. Broil or grill to desired doneness.
  4. Slice to serve.

Makes 6 servings.
