Princeton Cookies (Oatmeal Cranberry or Raisin Cookies)

Ingredients:

Princeton Cookies (Oatmeal Cranberry or Raisin Cookies)

  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups cranberries or raisins
  • 1 ¼ cup rolled oats (such as Quaker Oats)

Directions:

  1. Preheat electric oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream the margarine or butter with the sugar.
  3. Add the egg and baking soda and mix well.
  4. Slowly add the flour, then add in the cranberries and oatmeal.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes 36 cookies.
