Mango Lassi (smoothie)

Ingredients:

Mango Lassi (smoothie)

  • 2 cups fresh mango, chopped
  • 2 cups full fat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons local honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water (available at health food stores)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Mint to garnish
  • 1 cup of whole milk (as needed)

Directions:

  1. In a blender, puree the mangoes with the yogurt, cream, sugar or honey, cardamom powder and rose water.
  2. Add in ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour mango lassi in glasses and serve with mint garnish.
  4. For a thin consistency add milk while blending.
