Basic Energy Bite

Ingredients:

Basic Energy Bite

  • 1 cup peanut butter (may substitute with other nut butters like almond or cashew)
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Remove from refrigerator and roll into 1-inch balls.

To store, refrigerate in an airtight container or freeze for up to 4 months.

Makes 18 energy bites.
