Nuom Chuc Sauce

Nuom Chuc Sauce

Prepare this sauce 2 hours before serving for the best flavor. The leftover sauce will stay stored in the refrigerator in a covered glass container for 1 week.

  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry white wine
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon finely julienned carrot
  • 1 tablespoon finely julienned green onion


Combine all the ingredients in a small, glass bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Makes 1/2 cup.
