Teriyaki Burgers

Ingredients:

Teriyaki Burgers

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups soft breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ginger juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

Directions:

  1. Mix beef with crumbs, onions, and eggs.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients; mix 1/2 cup of the sauce into meat mixture.
  3. Shape into 8 patties and marinate in remaining sauce for 1 hour.
  4. Grill or broil to desired doneness, basting occasionally with sauce.
  5. Serve in hamburger buns.

Makes 8 servings.
