Sesame-Crusted Island Fish

Sesame-crusted island fish

Ingredients:

Sesame-Crusted Island Fish

  • 2 filets (3 oz size) firm white fish (snapper, sea bass)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt, white pepper and garlic powder to taste
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons toasted sesame seed

Directions:

  1. Season fish with soy sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Coat both sides with mayonnaise.
  3. Heat a skillet over high heat; brush lightly with oil.
  4. Sprinkle 1 1/2 tablespoons of the sesame seed on one side of fish.
  5. Place fish, seed side down, in skillet.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of sesame seed.
  7. Fry on both sides until done.

Makes 1 serving.
