Wildfire Safety Working Group Documents
Hawaiian Electric is working with a Wildfire Safety Working Group (WFS WG) to support the development and upkeep of its Wildfire Safety Strategy (WSS). The group is comprised of representatives from diverse industries, including government agencies and community groups. The purpose of the WFS WG is to inform and engage with stakeholders about various aspects of our strategy and provide the opportunity for stakeholders and partners to provide their knowledge, feedback, and input on the strategy and its updates.
Wildfire Safety WG Timeline
The Wildfire Safety Working Group plans to meet in 2026 according to the following schedule. All meetings will be held virtually from 9-11 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time (HST). Dates and topics are outlined below.
