Sauteed Vegetables

Ingredients:

Sauteed Vegetables

  • 1 tablespoon salted black beans, rinsed and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger root
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 onion, sliced in thin half-circles
  • 1 red bell pepper, slivered
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, slivered
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup slivered bamboo shoots

Directions:

  1. Combine black beans, oyster sauce, and sugar; set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat the oil. Lightly sauté ginger, garlic, and onion.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add sauce; cook for 1 more minute.

Makes 3 servings.
