Pulehu Short Ribs

Ingredients:

Pulehu Short Ribs

  • 6 pounds beef short ribs, 2-inch pieces
  • 6 thick slices ginger, crushed
  • 6 large cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup shoyu
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup mirin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Hawaiian salt
  • Red pepper flakes to taste

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ginger, garlic, shoyu, ketchup, mirin, sugar, salt and pepper flakes.
  2. Add ribs, cover and marinate overnight.
  3. Cook on grill over medium heat until desired doneness.

Serves 12.
