Potatoes Gratin
- 2 lb potatoes, pared and sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 lb grated Swiss or mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ground nutmeg (optional)

Preheat electric oven to 375°F. Butter a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Place potatoes in pan; add flour, milk, and half of the cheese. Mix well. Top with remaining cheese and seasonings. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center of mixture comes out clean. Makes 6 servings.
