Maze Gohan (mixed rice)

  • 2 cups brown rice, freshly cooked
  • 3 tablespoons wakame-chazuke (green tea) furikake (dried rice seasoning)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons nametake (seasoned mushrooms)
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen shelled edamame (soybeans), cooked


  1. In a large shallow wooden dish, place rice.
  2. Using a rice paddle, gently incorporate the furikake seasoning with the rice.
  3. Add the nametake and edamame to the rice and gently mix.
  4. Serve immediately.

Serves 6.
