Dragon Fruit Smoothie

Recipe compliments of Amy Tsuneyoshi, Board of Water Supply
Featured in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser on July 29, 2015.



1/2 cup dragon fruit, peeled and chopped
1 small banana, peeled and frozen
6 ounces of water or soy/almond milk
1 handful of ice cubes


Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired consistency. Additional fruits can be added. Freeze dragon fruit for thicker consistency. Makes 1 serving.

210 calories, 3.5 g fat, 0.5 g saturated fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 100 mg sodium, 41 g carbohydrate, 6 g fiber, 19 g sugar, 7 g protein
