Ingredients:
Dad's Easy Mushroom Chicken
Try this tasty recipe from the Electric Kitchen!
- Non-stick cooking spray
- 2 pounds chicken thighs, bone-in with skin-on
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 (26-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 (8-ounce) tray mushrooms
- 1 (14.5-ounce) jar artichokes, drained
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Coat baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Season chicken with garlic salt and ground pepper.
- Place on prepared pan and bake 50 minutes, until browned.
- Remove from oven and drain fat.
- Cover chicken with garlic, onions, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms and artichokes.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake an additional 50 minutes.
Serves 5.

Wow!! My chicken didn't look anything like the picture, but it was the most awesome recipe. The chicken was very moist and the gravy it created was so flavorful; I couldn't get enough of it. Served it with wild rice and string beans with carmelized garlic and onions. This recipe is a winner.
