Cookie and Coffee Brownies

Ingredients:

Cookie and Coffee Brownies

  • 1 package (16.5 to 18 ounces) refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
  • 1 package (19.5 ounces) milk chocolate brownie mix
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1/3 cup coffee liqueur or cooled strong coffee
  • 1 cup semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Press cookie dough into the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, cooking oil, and coffee liqueur until just combined.
  4. Spread over cookie dough.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until edges are set.
  7. Cool before cutting.

Makes 24 bars.
