Chocolate Bon Bons

Ingredients:

Chocolate Bon Bons

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup enriched flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 package (6 or 7 ounce) semi-sweet chocolate, shaved
  • 1 1/4 cups finely chopped nuts

Directions:

In a large pot, combine sugar, flour, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine eggs and milk and add to flour mixture. Add butter and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick enough to hold its shape, about 35-40 minutes. Add chocolate, stir until melted and chill. Form into balls, roll in nuts, and chill. Makes 4-5 dozen.

Serves 24.
