Cacao-Masala Spice

Ingredients:

Cacao-Masala Spice

  • 6 tablespoons cacao nibs, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage

Directions:

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in an air-tight jar. Makes an excellent poultry rub. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
