Cacao Bliss Bites

Cacao Bliss Bites

  • 1/2 medium beet, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional toppings:

  • Shredded coconut
  • Cacao nibs
  • Chocolate sauce


  1. In a food processor, pulse beet chunks and dates into smaller pieces.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
  3. If mixture is too dry, add a little water.
  4. Roll into balls and coat with your favorite toppings.
  5. Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow to firm.

Makes about 8 balls.
