Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:

Broccoli Salad

  • 1 bunch broccoli, chopped to bite-size pieces
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup golden raisins
  • ½ lb fresh mushrooms, sliced

Directions:

  1. Microwave broccoli for 1 minute; set aside.
  2. Fry bacon until crispy and crumble into small pieces; set aside.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar.
  4. Add all ingredients to mayonnaise mixture and refrigerate overnight.

Makes 6 servings.
