Baked Pear and Apple Puree

Ingredients:

Baked Pear and Apple Puree

  • 3 pears, cored, peeled and halved
  • 3 apples, cored, peeled and halved
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, add all ingredients and toss gently to combine. Place mixture in a shallow baking dish with 1 1/2-inches of water. Bake for 30 minutes or until fruit is tender. Cool fruit for 10 minutes. Place in a blender and pulse till smooth. Makes 6 servings.
