Baked Beans

Ingredients:

Baked Beans

  • 1/2 pound bacon, cut into thin strips
  • 1 pound Portuguese sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 jar (7 ounces) Momoya Kim Chee base
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 cans (28 ounces each) Bush's Baked Bean Homestyle (drain a little liquid - keep to side just in case)

Directions:

  1. Cook bacon, sausage and onion together on the stove until brown.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Add brown sugar, kim chee, ketchup and beans.
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Makes 10 servings.
