Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Arrange the asparagus on a baking sheet.
  3. Coat asparagus with cooking spray; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes or until tender.
  5. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Remove from heat, and stir in soy sauce and balsamic vinegar.
  7. Pour over the baked asparagus to serve.
