Air Fryer Tortilla Chips and Salsa

Ingredients:

Air Fryer Tortilla Chips and Salsa

  • 8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or olive oil spray
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 4-5 locally grown whole tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 can (14.5-ounce) petite diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small jalapeno (optional)
  • Pepper to taste (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat air fryer to 350°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Stack tortillas, cut into 6 triangular pieces.
  3. Spray or brush olive oil on tortillas.
  4. Sprinkle sea salt onto tortillas.
  5. Spread tortilla pieces across air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry tortillas at 350°F for 3-5 minutes or until the crisp level desired.
  7. Remove chips from air fryer, place on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  8. Combine tomatoes, canned tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, green pepper, red onion, and jalapeno in a blender, pulse ingredients until preferred consistency.
  9. Add lime juice, salt and pepper.
  10. Pulse all ingredients together.
  11. For extra chunky salsa, add additional tomato.

Dip chips in salsa and enjoy.
