3-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse


3-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse

  • 2 1/4 cups whipping cream, divided
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or 1 (4-ounce) bar baking chocolate, chopped


In a small pot on medium heat, heat 1/2 cup cream and sugar until the cream steams and slightly bubbles. Turn off stove and remove from burner.

Add chocolate into cream. Whisk until smooth. The cream will gently melt chocolate to make chocolate ganache. Allow to cool in refrigerator or freezer.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, pour remaining cream and whip until fluffy. Fold whipped cream into chocolate ganache. Place into glasses and serve with favorite toppings. Refrigerate before serving. Serves 4.

Note: The longer the mousse is refrigerated, the more “set” it’ll be with a rich and silky texture.
