Preheat oven to 350°F. Place chicken in baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper, and paprika. In a saucepan, combine butter, basil, onions, mushrooms, sherry, lemon juice, and mushroom soup. Heat mixture until butter melts. Pour mixture over chicken and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve with hot rice. Makes 6 servings.
To cook in a slow cooker: Place all ingredients in a pot on low and cook for 4 to 6 hours.
