HONOLULU, Jan. 11, 2019 – Hawaiian Electric Company will be replacing a utility pole along Kamehameha Highway near the Heeia Bridge in Kaneohe. The work will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 15 and 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The utility pole is on the Kaneohe side of the bridge. The work will require the closure of the southbound (mauka) lane of Kamehameha Highway. The lane closure will begin on the Kahaluu side of the bridge and end near the Board of Water Supply booster station. Traffic will be contra-flowed in the northbound lane.

Traffic signs, control measures, flagmen, and special-duty police officers will help direct traffic on Kamehameha Highway.
