Work scheduled on Friday, Oct. 6
Release Date: 10/5/2017
HONOLULU, Oct. 5, 2017 - Hawaiian Electric Company crews will continue work on the power distribution system along the intersection of Middle and North King streets on Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
For the safety of the public and the crews, the mauka-bound right-hand lane of Middle Street along Love's Bakery will be closed, and the lane closure will continue into the intersection, turn right onto North King Street, and end before the ramp to the Love's Bakery parking lot. The ramp will remain open.
Traffic control measures, aided by special-duty police officers, will direct traffic flow. Pedestrians will still be able to safely walk along the area.
Hawaiian Electric wants to advise motorists of the lane closure and apologizes for the inconvenience.
