Hawaiian Electric employees and volunteers will assist with weeding, planting, and watering at Malama Learning Center's Ola Na Kini "Kahe" restoration site near Camp Palehua. This work is a part of a program to create green firebreaks, or "greenbreaks" in West Oahu that will involve multi-layered strips of vegetation that help to resist fire.
