Ingredients:
Bool Go Gi (Fire Meat)
Try this delicious recipe from the Electric Kitchen!
- 1 lb rib eye (or thinly sliced beef for sukiyaki)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup sake
- 1/3 cup sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons chopped green onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon toasted and ground sesame seed
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper flakes
Directions:
- Cut rib eye into 1/8-inch slices.
- Combine remaining ingredients; marinate meat in mixture for at least one hour or overnight.
- To broil, place meat on rack of broiler pan.
- Broil 3-inches from broiler unit in electric oven for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
- To pan fry, heat griddle; brush with additional sesame oil.
- Fry meat slices for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
