Molokai residents are invited to pick up a free kit containing energy-saving items to help reduce energy use at home on Wednesday, May 11, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the following drive-through locations on the island.

Hawaiian Electric has established a permanent program that offers a discounted rate to customers with special medical needs, including those dependent on life-support equipment at home. The rate is available to 2,000 residential customers.
Hawaiian Electric is making its Battery Bonus program more attractive for customers by offering new incentives that include a bill credit for electricity exported to the grid and a monthly peak capacity payment based on the size of a customer’s battery system.
