Dec. 1 – Dec. 5: Hawaiian Electric to perform aerial inspections in Ukumehame using drone technology
Hawaiian Electric will be using unmanned aircraft, or drones, for aerial inspections of its infrastructure in the Ukumehame area of West Maui from Monday, Dec. 1 to Friday, Dec. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Underground utility work Mon. – Wed. along Hobron Ln. & Ena Rd. to impact Waikiki / Ala Moana area traffic
Hawaiian Electric will replace and install new underground cables along Hobron Lane and Ena Road starting Monday, Nov. 24, until Wednesday, Nov. 26, impacting traffic in the Waikiki and Ala Moana areas.

Utility work along Kona St. near Pensacola to start Mon. 7/21, continues through December
To improve system reliability, Hawaiian Electric will upgrade the infrastructure and equipment at its Kewalo Substation in the Ala Moana/Ward area starting Monday, July 21, through December 2025, with crews working weekdays except holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Overnight utility work to impact traffic on Nimitz Highway in downtown Honolulu from Mon., June 2, to mid-December
Hawaiian Electric contractors will work overnight to repair and reslab a manhole in downtown Honolulu starting Monday, June 2, impacting traffic at the intersection of Nimitz Highway and Fort Street Mall.
