Utility pole installations Monday along Moanalua Road to impact traffic near Aiea Shopping Center

Hawaiian Electric crews and contractors will install two utility poles, one on each side of Moanalua Road, near Aiea Shopping Center Monday, March 17, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Pole replacement Wed. on Farrington Hwy. in Waianae

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a pole along Farrington Highway in Waianae on Wednesday, March 12, closing the right, town-bound lane approaching Army Street and fronting the Aloha Gas station from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Utility pole replacements in Haleiwa on 3/11 & 3/18 to impact traffic along Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa Road

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace utility poles and other equipment in Haleiwa on Tuesday, March 11, along Kamehameha Highway, and Tuesday, March 18, on Haleiwa Road. The work will cause the following traffic impacts:

Hawaiian Electric to conduct aerial line inspections

To improve system reliability, Hawaiian Electric will conduct quarterly aerial inspections of its major overhead transmission lines in west Hawaii on Tuesday, March 18, and Wednesday, March 19.

Utility work to begin Sat., 3/8, in Kalihi Kai near future substation; overnight hours start 3/10 and end 3/15

Hawaiian Electric crews will string power lines in Kalihi Kai as part of construction of the future Auiki Substation, impacting traffic and street parking.

Upcoming road closures for utility work in Hilo

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace utility poles in Hilo on March 11 and March 20. The work will require intermittent or full road closures while the work is being performed.

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a utility pole along westbound Farrington Highway near Waipahu Town Center Thursday, March 6, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Utility work to impact Ahikawa Street in Kona

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a utility pole on Ahikawa Street in Kona on Wednesday, March 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Utility work in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Hawaiian Electric will begin a six-month project to rebuild a section of its transmission line inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park starting on Monday, March 3.

Utility work Wed., 2/26, to impact eastbound Nimitz Hwy. at Camp Caitlin Road intersection

Hawaiian Electric crews will replace underground cables on Nimitz Highway at Camp Caitlin Road on Wednesday, Feb. 26, closing the two left eastbound lanes from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as crews work in a manhole located in the intersection.
