2021 Fuels Supply RFPs
On June 30, 2021, Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc., Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc., and Maui Electric Company, Ltd., issued two (2) separate requests for proposals (RFP’s):
- Supply and Delivery of LSFO Fuel for the island of Oahu
- Supply and Delivery of HSFO, Diesel, LSD, ULSD, Biodiesel Fuel for the islands of Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and Molokai

2018 Fuels Supply RFPs
On February 5, 2018, Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc., Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc., and Maui Electric Company, Ltd., issued three (3) separate requests for proposals (RFP’s):
- Supply and Delivery of LSFO, 0.1% Sulfur Diesel, or an Alternative Fuel to a Diesel and LSFO Blend for the island of Oahu
- Supply and Delivery of IFO, Diesel, LSD, ULSD, and/or Biodiesel Fuel for the islands of Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and Molokai
- Terminalling Agreement for the Big Island of Hawaii
